Affiliate Disclosure
Transparency is one of our core values. At TheLostPie, we believe our readers deserve to know how this website earns revenue and how affiliate relationships may affect certain links throughout our content.
This Affiliate Disclosure explains our participation in affiliate marketing programs and how affiliate links work.
What Are Affiliate Links?
Affiliate links are special tracking links provided by merchants and affiliate networks. When you click an affiliate link and purchase a product or service, the merchant may pay us a commission for referring you.
Your purchase price never increases because you use an affiliate link.
Why We Use Affiliate Links
Operating an independent publication requires ongoing investment in research, writing, editing, hosting, software, security, and maintenance. Affiliate commissions help support these efforts and allow us to continue publishing free content for our readers.
Affiliate partnerships help us:
- Keep our content free and accessible.
- Research and publish in-depth reviews and buying guides.
- Maintain and improve our website.
- Invest in new content and editorial resources.
Editorial Independence
Our editorial integrity comes first.
- We do not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews.
- Affiliate commissions do not influence our opinions or recommendations.
- Products and services are evaluated based on research, usefulness, quality, features, and overall value.
- We may recommend products that do not offer affiliate commissions if we believe they are the best choice for our readers.
Affiliate Programs
TheLostPie participates in various affiliate marketing programs, which may include:
- Amazon Associates
- Flipkart Affiliate
- CJ Affiliate
- Impact
- ShareASale
- AppSumo
- Direct partnerships with software companies and service providers
- Other reputable affiliate networks and merchants
Affiliate partnerships may change over time as we add or remove programs.
How We Select Products
We strive to recommend products and services that provide genuine value to our readers. When evaluating products, we may consider factors such as:
- Product quality and reliability
- Features and performance
- Ease of use
- Value for money
- Customer reputation and support
- Overall user experience
Do Affiliate Links Cost You Anything?
No. Using our affiliate links does not increase the price you pay.
In some cases, affiliate partnerships may provide exclusive discounts, promotional pricing, or bonus offers that are not otherwise available.
Your Responsibility
We encourage all readers to perform their own research before making any purchase. Product features, pricing, availability, warranties, refund policies, and terms of service are determined solely by the merchant.
TheLostPie is not responsible for products, services, transactions, or customer support provided by third-party companies.
FTC Compliance
This Affiliate Disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Endorsement Guides, which require publishers to clearly disclose material connections with advertisers and affiliate partners. We are committed to maintaining transparency with our readers.
